JULIA SOCOLOVSKY MFT
Born and raised in Argentina, I emigrated to Israel at the age of 18 and moved to the United States at the age of 24.
Since finishing graduate school in 2010, I have worked with a wide range of populations and ages. Guided by my desire to make the first system we are born into a more functional one, I focused my training on parenting, infancy, early childhood, and children. Alongside this work, I also support adults, integrating EMDR and Somatic Experiencing to help process trauma, build resilience, and foster nervous system regulation.
I’m a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and an Infant-Family and Early Childhood Mental Health Specialist endorsed by the state of California (IFMHS).
I work with young children and families in order to create a long lasting mental health foundation. I bring into my work my years of experience working with young children and parents in community mental health in Israel and the United States.
I’m certified in Child-Parent Psychotherapy, Managing and Adapting Practices and Reflective Parenting. I’m trained in Psychodynamic Therapy with a focus on children and adolescents as well as in Oaklander Therapy (Gestalt Therapy for Children) and in Infant Massage Therapy. I have finished the EMDR basic training and I'm currently training in Somatic Experiencing.
I have a multicultural background and speak Spanish and Hebrew.

My office is located on the Westside of Los Angeles.
